One of my recent purchase was something to keep me entertained during this snow-like weather we’re having today. Roads are expected to be slippery and not only that… I’m sick and I wanna stay in bed all day. So Milky mentioned me about Super Mario Galaxy and Joey played a demo of it in the GameStop stores. It looked fun but I didn’t give my hopes up till I actually played it for sure. Let me tell you this game is really unique. The controls are cool and it’s actually fun and adventurous. I still have a long way to go (right now I only have 30 stars =/) but I’m pretty sure there is more to go. The controls were a bit hard to get used to at first, but once you get your starts, you’ll get used to all of the controls.
Now if I can only find my Nintendo DS ac adapter to play my zelda game… GRRRRRR

Due to the location where we are… We can just hop on a train to go to NYC for a day. Ever since Wes and I started dating, we have. Our first one to the city was very romantic and memorable. On December 23, 2006 we went to NYC. We were able to visit lots of shopping plaza, go to his Sam Ash store so he can just sit there and play his guitars, and dine @ Hard Rock Cafe. Also we stopped at Rockefeller Plaza to see the huge tree. Now that we think about that trip… it is just a tree. Also near the tree on a building, there are snowflake lights. Once in a while they’ll blink in sequence to some random holiday show. People stop to watch it and go in awe. Wes and I however, are like “It’s just light” and try to find the quickest way out of the crowd. Since then, we went back in January with his best friend, Frank. And then after taking a break, we went back in the summer to go shopping in the village area as well.
Every time Wes talks about going back, I always want to save a lot of money to spend there. I fear now I can’t due to bills, gas (WTF? $2.93 a gallon now!), and the fact that I am saving up for a laptop (better one) of my own. I am guaranteed though to spend at least $19 not including gas… Parking in Hoboken is $16 in the garage and the PATH train is $3 both ways. Now me having my girly-side, I have to go shopping there. Of course there are the usual stores we can find in our local malls like Macy’s, Old Navy, GAP, but there are some special stores in the city like the Hello Kitty store in the Manhattan Mall… there is also the Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza. Not to mention when you go to NYC you gotta eat there. And believe me it isn’t cheap if you don’t wanna go to McDonald’s/Wendy’s/Taco Bell.
However, if I do save up some money to go there, these are the places I would like to stop by again:
- Nintendo World (sorry I’m a gamer geek sometimes…)
- Inside Rockefeller Plaza to look at the stores inside
- Empire Building and hopefully go inside
- Central Park
- Toys R Us (it is kinda entertaining)
Eh hopefully we can go soon…
